Republican lawmakers in Wisconsin are recommending a $15 million cut in tribal programs in the state's budget.

Some tribes say the cut is retribution for gaming compacts they recently signed Republican lawmakers have gone to court to challenge the agreements.

The money being cut is derived from casino revenues that tribes share with the state.
