John Potter: Tribute to a Blackfeet friend
Facebook Twitter Email
MONDAY, JULY 14, 2003

"I first met Mr. Gladstone not long after moving to Billings in the early '80s. He was traveling with his son, singer/songwriter/storyteller Jack Gladstone, who had a performance in town that day.

I remember thinking of him then, "now HERE is a man who knows the dance of life."

As we parted that day, he smiled and said, "We'll see ya later."

In the nearly 20 years since then, I came to know Wally as a gifted storyteller, a warrior, a gentlemen and a friend."
