The Seneca Nation of New York has decided against a casino in downtown Buffalo, The Buffalo News reports.
The tribe was being lobbied by city leaders to come to Buffalo. But the tribe has instead chosen a site in a suburb.
Under the tribe's compact with the state, the tribe can open three casinos, including two off-reservation The first off-reservation casino opened in Niagara Falls.
