The casino resort under construction by the Morongo Band of Mission Indians of California is expected to pump $2.8 billion into the local economy.
The casino features a 410-foot high-rise hotel, considered the largest in the region and on any reservation. The facility will create 1,200 new jobs that local officials.
The tribe will open the resort this November.
