The Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation of Kansas announced on Tuesday that it will assume full management of its casino.
The casino has been operated for the past 10 years under an approved management contract with Harrah's Entertainment. The agreement will end in January 2008 and the tribe is preparing for the transition.
The casino gets 1.4 million visitors a year. The tribe recently opened a $55 million expansion.
