Stillaguamish Tribe seeks tips on casino vandalism

printer friendly
The Stillaguamish Tribe of Washington is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest of anyone responsible for tearing down casino signs and painting racial slurs on them.

The tribe ran into opposition prior to opening the Angel of the Winds Casino. "But the racism takes this to another level," Stillaguamish Police Chief Felix Moran told The Seattle Times.

At least six signs were destroyed. Some were painted with racial slurs and drawings.
