Hemlock comes to the NIGC with more than 20 years of experience in tribal issues. She worked for her tribe's gaming corporation and the tribe's planning and development department.

"As Indian gaming expands and presents many new economic opportunities for Tribes, I welcome the opportunity to work with a dedicated NIGC team on some of the most complex and challenging gaming issues facing Indian Country," Hemlock said in a statement.
