The Match-E-Be-Nash-She-Wish Band of Pottawatomi Indians launched a newspaper ad campaign to target opponents of the tribe's proposed casino.

The tribe was recognized by the Bureau of Indian Affairs and is seeking to acquire land for 140 acres for an initial reservation in Allegan County. Some of the land will be used for a casino.

The land-into-trust application has been held up since 2001. The ad campaign says opponents of the proposal have "stolen" job and economic opportunities.
