New Mexico's gaming tribes contributed about $42 million in slot machines revenues to the state in 2005.
Each tribes shares a percentage of revenues depending on the size of their gaming operation. Overall, they made $530 million from their slot machines.
So far this year, tribes have contributed $12 million to the state, based on $139 million earned in the first quarter.
The state's industry is due to expand with at least three more casinos slated to open in the coming years.
