Rep. Richard Pombo (R-California) is the top U.S. House recipient of gaming and gaming-related contributions, Fox News reports.
Pombo is the chairman of the House Resources Committee. He oversees legislation affecting Indian gaming and tribal matters.
"He's fought hard for tribal gaming, big oil subsidies … drilling in Alaska; but he hasn't fought for us." Democratic opponent Jerry McNerney told Fox News.
Pombo is sponsoring H.R.4893, a bill to restrict off-reservation gaming. The bill is up for debate this Wednesday, the committee announced on Monday.
