The Seminole Tribe of Florida and a former gaming partner have ended their court battle.
The battle started when the tribe tried to break a casino agreement with The Cordish Co and Power Plant Entertainment. The lawsuit claimed the companies were making billions off the tribe for doing nothing.
The fight continued after the tribe bought the Hard Rock chain for nearly $1 billion. Cordish filed a lawsuit, claiming the Seminoles interfered with the purchase.
The two sides have now reached a settlement and have agreed to dismiss their lawsuits. The tribe will reportedly pay Cordish $231 million over 22 years and another $525 million to Cordish and Power Plant.
