printer friendly
The Tigua Tribe of Texas is defending its right to offer a sweepstakes game on its reservation.

The tribe responded to a lawsuit filed by state attorney general Greg Abbott. The tribe says the AG's office unfairly targeted the tribe misrepresented the nature of the sweepstakes.

Abbott claims the sweepstakes violates state laws against gaming. He is asking a federal judge to shut down the tribe.
