Florida AG asks NIGC again to shut Seminole casinos

Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum sent another letter to the National Indian Gaming Commission, asking the federal agency to stop the Seminole Tribe from offering Class III games.

McCollum says the tribe can't offer slot machines and card games without a Class III compact. The Florida Supreme Court invalidated the agreement in July.

The compact was approved by the Bureau of Indian Affairs before the decision was handed down. The tribe says it won't stop Class III gaming unless being told by the federal government.
