The San Manuel Band of
Mission Indians will be promoting its casino at a major venue in southern California: the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
The tribe signed a five-year contract to place advertising for the San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino throughout the arena, on the Staples web site and on electronic billboards outside the arena. The deal makes the casino the "official" gaming facility of the venue.
The partnership will be announced tonight at the arena's VIP restaurant, which is being renamed the San Manuel Club.
