Pojoaque Pueblo in New Mexico is benefiting from new airline service at the Santa Fe Municipal Airport.
Gamblers from Dalllas are flying into Santa Fe on a new American Eagle route. "We send a bus out there when the flights come in," tribal CEO Allen Mosley told The Santa Fe New Mexican. "A lot of times we get quite a few pickups."
So far, the tribe is the only one in the area that's making stops at the airport. The Buffalo Thunder Resort is about 23 miles from the airport.
The Dallas-Santa Fe route began on a trial basis but American Airlines says it will continue due to high demand.
