The Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe of South Dakota will honor actor Kevin Costner on Sunday.
President Joshua Weston said the tribe wants to thank Costner for his support of Indian issues.
The event will take place at the Royal River Casino.
Costner owns 93.5 percent of a commercial casino in South Dakota.
