Connecticut tribes report modest gains in slot machine revenues


Connecticut's two federally recognized tribes reported an increase in slot machine revenues at their casinos.

The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation saw a 5.3 percent rise in the amount wagered on slot machines and a 1.3 percent rise in its win. This is the first time the tribe has seen growth in more than a a year.

The Mohegan Tribe saw an 8 percent rise in the handle and a 1.73 percent rise in win. This is the second straight month that the tribe has seen growth.

The last time both tribes reported growth was 26 months ago.
