New England Gaming Summit reports a boost in attendance

Attendance at the New England Gaming Summit increased by 20 percent this year, The Norwich Bulletin reports

Interest has grown due to pending legislation in Massachusetts. A bill will authorize three casino resorts throughout the state.

“The main thing on the radar is physical development,” Lesley Grashow of BNP Media, which organizes the summit, told the paper. “People see a lot of potential.”

The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation is hosting the summit, which runs today and tomorrow.
