The Forest County Potawatomi Tribe will be opening a hotel at its casino in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The $150 million, 382-room hotel will not be affiliated with a hotel chain. It's the tribe's independent operation, aimed at catering to visitors of the Potawatomi Bingo Casino. “The casino guests have been asking for it. They come in and say, ‘Where’s the hotel?’" Mike Goodrich, a tribal member who serves as the casino’s general manager, told BizTimes Milwaukee. At 20 stores, the hotel will be higher than the rest of the buildings in the vicinity of the casino. But it's similar in height to at least one other hotel in Milwaukee, BizTimes reported.
