Senate Indian Affairs Committee listening session at NIGA

The Senate Indian Affairs Committee is holding a listening session tomorrow to discuss the draft Tribal Online Gaming Act.

The session takes place at the National Indian Gaming Association mid-year conference. It will be held from 10am to 12pm in Ballroom C at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Seminole, Florida.

NIGA has called for more tribal consultation on the proposed bill, which has not been introduced in the Senate. The draft calls for a new federal agency to regulate Internet poker games.
