Kootenai Tribe announces expansion plans for hotel at casino

The Kootenai Tribe of Idaho is expanding its casino hotel.

The tribe is adding 36 rooms to the Kootenai River Inn, bringing the total to 101 rooms. The expansion will be complete in May 2013.

"We always want the best experience possible for our guests," Chair Jennifer Porter said in a press release.

The casino features more than 500 gaming machines.
