The Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi in Michigan is looking at ways to expand its gaming facility.

The tribe operates the FireKeepers Casino on a 90-acre site. Executive say the goal is to use the land for entertainment, commercial and other options.

"The concept is to develop it in some entertainment fashion to complement the casino operation – an entertainment type of district, a destination entertainment district,” casino CEO R. Bruce McKee told MLive.

The casino opened in August 2009.
