Navajo Nation Council approves bill for liquor sales at casino

The Navajo Nation Council voted 9-7 on Friday to pass a bill that authorizes the sale of liquor at gaming facilities in Arizona.

The bill allows alcohol on the floor of the new Twin Arrows Navajo Casino Resort. Currently, liquor is only served in restaurants there.

President Ben Shelly supports the bill.
