Navajo Nation president signs bill for liquor at Arizona casinos

Navajo Nation President Ben Shelly signed into law a bill that authorizes liquor at tribal gaming facilities in Arizona.

The law allows alcohol on the floor of the new Twin Arrows Navajo Casino Resort. Currently, liquor is only served in restaurants there.

The casino opened in late May. The tribe plans to open additional gaming facilities in Arizona.
