The House Subcommittee on Commerce, Manufacturing, and Trade will hold a hearing on December 10 to discuss Internet gaming.

Two topics are on the agenda. One is a December 2011 opinion from the Department of Justice that said states can sell lottery tickets over the Internet without violating federal law.

The second item on the agenda is H.R.2666, the Internet Poker Freedom Act of 2013. The bill authorizes states and tribes to engage in online poker games.

The hearing will take place at 12:30pm in Room 2123 of the Rayburn House Office Building. A witness list hasn't been posted online.
