Wilton Rancheria offers plans for gaming facility at city meeting

The Wilton Rancheria of California, a recently recognized tribe, will be outlining plans for a casino at a city council meeting in Galt this evening.

The tribe wants build a casino on a 160-acre site north of the city. A land-into-trust application is in the works but it has yet to be submitted, The Sacramento Bee reported.

"There are a lot of things that go into it," Carmen Facio, the realty officer at the BIA office in Sacramento, told the paper.
