It looks like the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma are getting out of the Internet gaming business for now. The tribe launched the free-play Poker Tribes last year and signed a new Class III gaming compact that authorized Internet gaming. But the new administration has ended the deal with the company that started the site, The Native American Times reported. Gov. Rollin “Eddie” Hamilton, who was sworn into office last month, also said he would drop a lawsuit against the Bureau of Indian Affairs. The tribe was suing the agency for rejecting the new gaming compact. The tribe reportedly spent $9.5 million to develop Poker Tribes. Get the Story:
