The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut secured $50 million in financing for a new hotel at its commercial casino in Pennsylvania. Fundamental Advisors provided the loan for the seven-story, 238-room hotel at the Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs. The hotel celebrated its grand opening on January 18. "Fundamental has been a dedicated partner for many years and this project represents a culmination of our strong ongoing relationship," Mitchell Grossinger Etess, the Chief Executive Officer of Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority, said in a press release. "We look forward to exploring new projects and collaborating on future special situation opportunities with the team at Fundamental."
