The New Mexico Legislature's Committee on Compacts will meet this afternoon to discuss a Class III gaming compact for the Navajo Nation.

The agreement has been controversial. Other tribes are worried about the prospect of three more Navajo casinos and have raised concerns about revenue sharing provisions.

Lawmakers could ask the tribe and with Gov. Susana Martinez (R) to renegotiate.
