Woman charged with murder in Pechanga Band casino shooting

More on: crime, pechanga
A California woman was charged with murder and child endangerment for allegedly shooting and killing a man at the casino owned by the Pechanga Band of Luiseno Indians.

Authorities say Maria Santos Vihnanek, 31, shot Keith Rodman, 49, at the Pechanga Resort & Casino last Friday. There are conflicting news reports, but it appears Rodman was shot in a hotel room and went to the casino lobby to seek help.

The couple's six-month-old son was allegedly in the room when the shooting occurred so the child endangerment charge was added.
