Newspaper says Alabama Sen. Bryan Taylor (R) holds a grudge against Poarch Band of Creek Indians and its gaming operation:
For the past several years, he’s been chasing the Poarch Creek Band of Indians. The Poarch Creeks operate three casinos in Alabama, including one in Wetumpka, and for some reason this really irks Taylor.

Taylor, who’s an attorney, represented Escambia County in a lawsuit against the tribe, claiming they owed millions in tax dollars. Last year, when another bill was introduced that would allow for Sunday sales and draft beer in Wetumpka, Taylor added amendments on the last day to exclude the Poarch Creek casino. This year’s bill also excludes the casino from the draft beer sales.

It’s like the guy’s related to Custer or something.
