The Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe of Washington is celebrating the fifth anniversary of its casino.

The 7,000 square-foot Elwha River Casino employs more than 50 people. Revenues are being used to fund key tribal programs.

“It definitely doesn’t seem like it’s been five years. Time flies,” Chairwoman Frances Charles told The Peninsula Daily News.
