The Viejas Band of Kumeyaay Indians in California is relocating its bingo hall to its outlet mall.

The 11,300-square-foot, bingo hall opens tomorrow in the Viejas Outlet Center. General manager Peter Cortese believes this is the first facility of its kind in the state.

"We've been entertainment-focused from the start," Cortese told The San Diego Union-Tribune, referring to operations at the mall.

By moving the bingo hall to the mall, the tribe is making more room for slot machines at the Viejas Casino.
