Tonto Apache Tribe helps make drug bust in parking lot at casino

The Tonto Apache Tribe of Arizona helped make a major drug bust in the parking lot of its casino.

Tribal police observed a suspicious vehicle at the Mazatzal Casino and called in the Gila County Drug, Gang and Violent Crimes Task Force. Authorities found more than $768,000 worth of methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana and other drugs in the panels of the car and arrested six people.

The bust took place on April 1.
