Four people plead guilty for theft from Minnesota tribal casinos

Four people pleaded guilty in connection with a theft scheme at tribal casinos in Minnesota.

Elias Rodriguez, 30, Agustine Henry Gueits, 28, Anuedi Rivera-Bido, 29, and Geetha Leena, 28, each pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit theft from an Indian gaming establishment and one count of aggravated identity theft. They admitted they used counterfeit credit cards to obtain cash advances at casinos owned by the Leech Lake Band and the Bois Forte Band.

One person previously pleaded guilty in connection with the same scheme. Two others also have been charged.

More than $35,000 was taken from the tribal casinos, the U.S. Attorney's Office in Minnesota said in a press release.
