The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut is eliminating another 70 card dealer positions, The New London Day reported.

The tribe already cut 125 dealer positions at Foxwoods Resort Casino in March. The layoffs come as the facility has seen a decline in earnings and slot machine revenues.

The tribe's EBITA -- earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization -- fell 37.6 percent in the quarter that ended March 31, 2014. Slot revenues were down 10.5 percent in April.
