The Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its casino this week.

The Paragon Casino Resort was the vision of the late Chairman Earl Barbry Sr., who died last year. Since 1994, the facility's square footage has grown 10 times and the tribe has poured more than $100 million into expansion projects.

“It doesn’t seem like 20 years, but it has been,” Chairman Joey Barbry, who is Earl's son, said at a ceremony on Tuesday, The Alexandria Town Talk reported. “We’re still going strong and we’ll keep going strong. We’ve had our bumps in the road, but they’re behind us and the future looks bright. The best is still ahead of us.”
