Voters in Siskiyou County, California, will have their say on the proposed Karuk Tribe casino this November.

The vote will be advisory in nature. But the outcome could affect the county's ongoing talks with the tribe for an intergovernmental agreement.

The tribe had hoped to break ground on the Karuk Casino this summer. The county, however, is asking for more money as part of the negotiations.

The tribe must negotiate with the community as part of its Class III gaming compact, which has yet to be ratified by the Legislature.
