Oklahoma newspaper welcomes $170 million Cherokee Nation development that will include a new casino, hotels and retail:
The project should be a welcome addition to the area.

It will provide jobs during and after construction.

It will create a venue for entertainment whether it is gambling or golf.

It will provide additional retail opportunities in Tahlequah.

It also has the potential to spark growth of non-tribal retail space near the development.

Tribal interests have been good economic drivers for years and this development is no exception.
