Salt River Tribe arrests man who left children in casino garage

Police from the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community of Arizona arrested a casino patron who left his children in an unattended vehicle for nearly two hours.

Gregory T. Devereux, 29, was gambling inside the Talking Stick Resort while his two-year-old and three-year-old children were in the garage parking lot. He was jailed on suspicion of endangering the life and health of a minor and intentional child abuse.

The Arizona Department of Child Safety has taken custody of the children.
