The Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma continues its streak of major gaming-related developments. The tribe is holding a press conference tomorrow to discuss a $80 million development deal at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino near Tulsa. Plans call for a "premier shopping, dining and entertainment" at the facility, Cherokee Nation Businesses said in a media alert.

The announcement comes on the heels of a $170 million casino, hotel and retail development in Tahlequah, the tribe's capital. The tribe is also building a $10 million casino on an Indian allotment near the Kansas border.

The 17,000-square-foot facility in South Coffeyville is due to open in February 2015, The Cherokee Phoenix reported. Get the Story:
