The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut is on track to open an outlet mall at its casino in May 2015. The 300,000-square-foot mall at the Foxwoods Resort Casino will feature 82 stores. The $120 million project has created 400 construction jobs and the facility is expected to employ 900 people.

"Being a resort destination, being in a competitive market, we have to have offerings that differentiate ourselves," Chairman Rodney Butler told The Hartford Courant. Work began in September 2013. The mall is due to open by Memorial Day in May 2015. Get the Story:
