The Eastern Shoshone Tribe of Wyoming expects to complete a $25 million casino expansion in 2016.

Construction at the Shoshone Rose Casino will begin in the spring of 2015. Adding a 65-room hotel, a larger gaming floor, an outdoor restaurant patio, conference rooms and swimming pool will take 12 months, The Riverton Ranger reported.

The expansion is being financed by the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community of Minnesota, the paper reported. The tribe is well known for extending loans, grants and other funds in Indian Country.
