The New Mexico Office of the State Auditor has sided with tribes in a dispute over free play at their casinos. The New Mexico Gaming Control Board argued that free play credits must be included in tribal revenue sharing payments. But the auditor said doing so violates the Class III gaming compact. Pojoaque Pueblo, whose leaders are embroiled in a compact negotiation dispute with Gov. Susana Martinez (R), released a copy of the auditor's findings, The Santa Fe New Mexican reported.
