The Quechan Nation is hoping to recover a doll that was taken from the museum at the tribe's casino in California.

The 15-inch tall doll in traditional dress was created by the late Jessie Webb Escalanti in the 1990s. It was on display at the cultural center at the Quechan Casino Resort until it went missing a few months ago.

"It's priceless," Perdius Escalanti, Jessie's daughter, told The Yuma Sun.

The casino CEO said the tribe has increased security at the cultural center.
