Eastern Shawnee Tribe plans April 2 opening for gaming facility

The Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma will be reopening its casino near the Missouri border on April 2.

The tribe closed the Bordertown Casino and Arena while it focused on the Indigo Sky Casino. The facility will reopen after a makeover based on a rodeo theme.

The casino will feature 500 slot machines, a restaurant called CoCo's Chuckwagon and a dance floor/event space called the Lost Creek Saloon There will also be an outdoor arena for bull riding events.
