The Pechanga Band of Luiseno Indians in California came out on top in USA Today's 10 Best casino poll. The Pechanga Resort and Casino scored the most votes in the survey. The Pechanga Band beat out the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation and the Mohegan Tribe for the top spot. "We are ecstatic about being voted number one," Lee Torres, the vice president of marketing at the casino, told Travel Pules. "We say a huge 'thank you' to everyone who cast their ballot for Pechanga." Of the top 10 winners in the USA Today poll, five represent Indian Country. The full list follows:
