Pojoaque Pueblo shooting incident started in casino parking lot

Authorities in New Mexico are investigating a shooting at the casino owned by Pojoaque Pueblo.

The Santa Fe Sheriff’s Office found bullet casings in a parking lot at the Buffalo Thunder Resort, The Albuquerque Journal reported. Additional shots were fired at a highway overpass near the facility, the paper said.

The incident occurred in the early morning hours on November 1, after a Halloween party at the casino. No one was injured but two people in a car, who said they noticed a fight in the parking lot, were shot at by someone on the highway overpass, the paper reported.
