Authorities in California arrested a couple for allegedly defrauding someone of $46,866 at the casino owned by the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians.

The tribe took part in the investigation after being contacted by the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department and Bank of America. A bank customer said the money was stolen from savings and home equity line of credit accounts.

The investigation led authorities to Vinny Hoai Nguyen and Quynhnhu Nguyen. They allegedly used the victim's identity and stolen banking information to make cash withdrawals at the San Manuel Indian Bingo & Casino over a five-day period in May 2015.

The pair were arrested and are facing felony identity theft crimes, the sheriff's department said in a press release.
