The Chitimacha Tribe of Louisiana announced a $20 million expansion and renovation project at its casino.

The Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel will see a larger gaming floor, a new restaurant and more retail options. The pool area at the hotel is also being expanded with a bar, lazy river and cabanas.

Some of the changes will arrive in just a few weeks. The tribe is holding a job fair for the new Cafe Delphine on Saturday to hire new employees.

“The Chitimacha Tribe is proud of the growth of our enterprises and Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel has proven to be a business that provides good jobs for hundreds of people of Acadiana," Chairman O’Neil Darden said in a press release. "We are excited about this expansion. The continued growth of the casino also affords us the opportunity to be able to give back to so many in this region, something we look forward to doing for many years to come."
